The same plugin works for both Maya versions 5 and 6. Also, the RPC Plugin works in conjunction with the Mental Ray renderer in Maya.

- Editing Tools: RPC 3.0 includes an editing dialog box that makes global changes to your RPC content simpler and faster than ever before. Need to make all of your oak trees taller? Make a global change with just a few mouse clicks. Control jitter? Again, one interface and a few mouse clicks and you’re done. These and other editing options are now at your fingertips.

Hot on the heels of Adobe’s release of After Effects CS3, MAXON makes its free file exchange plugin available for seamless connectivity to After Effects CS3, for both Windows and Macintosh systems.
Thousands of production studios worldwide count on the proven, seamless file exchange between CINEMA 4D and After Effects when combining 2D and 3D elements in post-production. The After Effects plugin not only merges individually rendered passes made in CINEMA 4D, such as shadows, reflections and highlights, but also imports camera and light information, as well as object position data for easily incorporating 3D into a 2D workflow.
